I have an holistic approach and work intuitively. At the beginning of your appointment, I will tailor with you a treatment suited to your needs on the day, including the pressure and whether a certain type or combination of therapies would be more beneficial.

Myofascial Release (John Barnes)

Myofascial Release works very deeply and powerfully despite applying a very gentle sustained pressure, skin on skin, into the connective tissue that envelops every muscle, bone and organ. It also helps break up adhesions (internal scar tissue) which can cause pain and restricted movement. It restores motion, releases and realigned the body and eases pain. It is a very gentle but potent way of working with the body and let your body release tensions in way it knows best. It will leave you feeling deeply relaxed, feeling lighter and more flexible.

It takes place comfortably lying on a couch without any oil.

Reiki

Reiki is a hands on (or off) technique. The flow of the universal life force energy is activated through the placing of hands on specifics positions, even by distance. It is an effective way for reducing stress in the mind and body, putting the body back into a more balanced state and providing an overall sense of well-being and relaxation.

It takes place comfortably lying on a couch, fully clothed without any oil or in the comfort of your own home

Deep Tissue Massage

It uses deep pressure and works deeply within muscles and connective tissue and addressing trigger points. Combining slow strokes and notable pressure, the purpose is to release the tension and tightness held deeply in your muscles and your connective tissues. Or for those who prefer a strong touch.

After a deep tissue massage it is common to feel a little tender in the area that has been worked on.

It takes place comfortably lying on a couch, using oil.

Indian Head Massage

It uses massage techniques and pressure points in a rhythmical sequence of movements, incorporating modern knowledge of shiatsu and acupressure to relax tense areas and rebalance the energy. The areas treated are mainly the scalp and face with some work on the shoulders and neck. This massage induces a sense of calmness leaving you feeling relaxed, while relieving mental stress and physical tiredness and tightness.

It takes place comfortably lying on a couch using oil.

It can also be done fully clothed or wearing a thin strap vest, with very little oil or none.

Natural Facial Lift Massage

It incorporates unique massage techniques from Japanese Face massage and Indian Face massage with acupressure and reflexology for the face. The Japanese influence involves the facial meridians and can affect the balance of health in the whole body. This massage is deeply relaxing leaving you with softer skin and relieving neck and facial tension, improving the complexion, while enhancing the balance of health in the body.

It takes place comfortably lying on a couch using oil.

If preferred it can be done using less oil, fully clothed or wearing a thin strap vest while lying on a couch. Please remove makeup before the treatment.

Swedish Massage

It is used for its general relaxation, soothing and calming effects. It relieves muscle tension and soothes aches, pains, stresses and strains. Both relaxing and invigorating, Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage that works the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health; creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system. It combines different massage strokes, soothing tight muscles and leaving you feeling relaxed and revived.
